They could potentially really ruin W&W with whoever they get to do that show. I'll never listen again if it's Condon or Ott. I could see it being Musso, not that that would be great but I can't really think of anyone else.

After Dave Portnoy rallied the Michigan boosters/fanbase to buy Bryce Underwood away from LSU, I have boycotted all things Barstool Sports.

There were rumors on here about a few things. One was he tried to organize a strike during COVID then Guaranty Media fired him for it. Which I don't believe is legal. Then there was Ed O got him fired for being too anti-O. Don't think that is true either. The other was contract dispute.
I think this was the first time someone with ties to Guaranty Media said outright he was fired.

Do you avoid Walmart/Sams and Tyson cuz they help Arkansas?
Do you avoid Nike cuz they help Oregon?
Do you avoid any other brand because they favor another school over LSU?
You don't have to like Barstool, I feel like I have outgrown most of their content but not consuming things you like becaus ethey root for a different sports team than you is pretty dumb IMO.

He was pretty baf radio anyeay! Positives are that another LSU alum gets on the national stage and maybe BR gets better local radio

I am not one who hates Scone but he is currently where he fits best. Biggest fish a smaller pond. He has to be the alpha and in the BR/LSU space, be gets to be that. If he went to a national radio braodcast, he'd have to compete with guys that have similar personalities with better credentials (actually played the sports) and I don't think that would go well for him.

That is my thoughts as well.
I remember the early days of sports (AM) radio in RB. It was mostly, annoying, caller-driven. However, that was at a time where there weren't a lot of information sources. If you wanted to know anything about LSU sports you either got it from the newspaper (advocate), 5 minute hits on the nightly local news, or sports radio. Hell, often times the 1-2 hours of radio was your best source.
Today we get information at a rapid pace. This site is the best aggregator of that information. But that means we don't really "need" sports radio to give us the information anymore. It's more entertainment. There are 4 local shows every day, and they all talk about the same things...mostly the local teams. I enjoyed T-Bob kind of going off into other weird topics from time to time. It was entertaining. There's only so much discussion one can have about the same sports teams
