I'd imagine no more than around 5k fans show up unless there's more fans that live in the northeast than I think.

5,000 LSU fans is about 25% of typical attendance at a Syracuse football game.
Edit:
Article says 7,500 LSU fans will be there. Change that to 38%

We might cause a riot again like we did in Blacksburg in 2002.

Really? That's what someone with a degree does for entertainment? Get drunk? Ah, yes, let's all go to college to become alcoholics. No wonder the country is in such bad shape.

Carrier Dome will be 40-50% LSU fans. You have no idea how many of us up here there are and how long we've been waiting for this.

There's a fair sized alumni group in New York City.

Ramezan gave his warning Monday morning by phone from his office in Louisiana.
LSU is coming. And it plans to drink this town dry.
Bloody Mary's, mimosas and screwdrivers in the morning at the OnCenter, site of the pregame tailgate for traveling alumni.
"I've gone places in the past where they've run out (of alcohol)," Ramezan said.
Bourbon, Crown Royal, cranberry vodkas and beer during the tailgating at Skytop.
And, yes, Ramezan was aware of the beer and wine sales at the Carrier Dome.
"They might meet their alcohol budget for the year," he said.
Look, don't get me wrong, I'm a big booze hound too, but I wish alcohol was not the most prominent takeaway in several quotes from the alumni association VP. It is what it is I guess.

I was just about to say this.
I'm sure there are plenty of LSU fans in the New England area, Jersey, and Pennsylvania area that can't wait to see LSU on top of NY fans and people coming from Louisiana. It might feel like a home game for us.

A couple of them act like they don't want the money we're going to spend there.

They of course have places for many fanbases (including LSU's) to watch games.
