You gonna bark all day little doggy?

You seem pretty agressive for a game your team didnt even care about. Also, SEC refs...

Take your backhanded compliments and GTFO. SEC refs is exactly my point. An ACC or third party crew wouldn't have called nearly as many ticky tack penalties. Ritter has a long and storied history of fricking us over. Like I said, go suck Tom Ritter's baby dick and thank him for keeping your shitty team in the game.

Grandad,

I think 'Cuse played better than we did today. I think although they were outmatched physically they played smarter, less penalties and at some (not all) times played harder than LSU did. They should be credited for their effort.

However that's not the same as them being "pretty good". We let a 5th string walkon QB make enough plays to have his confidence grow. The long TD was a coverage bust.
And every drive they had benefitted from a personal foul or PI penalty.

That doesn't scream pretty good to me. I think their upside is 3-4 ACC wins We will see.

I think a more accurate critique is they played hard and hung tough today and took advantage of our mistakes.

there is a lot of "mad" going on right now for only a "pretty good" opponent

2 road games, 2 penalty fests for LSU. Bama and OM will both be losses with that type of trend. SC will be a tougher game than it should

So nice to see theres like 5 rational LSU fans on here right now

If that's what you're looking for, you're in the wrong place.

Our penalties kept yall in it but I thought your QB handled himself well. Hope to see Syracuse make some noise in the ACC

Syracuse front 7 was pretty good.

LSU is self destructing with penalties and sloppy play. That bothers me more than any opponent.

Nah, I'm not gonna let a couple bad apples scare me out of here. The fact is, everyone down voting every one of my posts and blasting all of my opinions is just showing how insecure they really are about what I've been saying.

I honestly havent said one thing to insult anyone or the team. I guess some folks here just like to work themselves up and name call if they don't agree with an opinion. That's their prerogative, not mine.

I just wanted to come here and have some rational discourse about the events of the game, and discuss our teams moving forward. I'll keep trying. Hopefully we can find some common ground and mutual respect at some point. Either way, I'll still be around talking football.

Syracuse gave a very good effort. I'll take nothing away from them because LSU did not equal their effort. Clearly, penalties kept the Orangemen in the game, but most of them were legit. We lost a TD to a silly penalty and a TD due to a drop on a well thrown ball. We also could have scored again, but just took a knee instead so the Final score is closer than the game was really.
I'm happy for the win and hope Syracuse has a good year.

I don't know what team you watched but they were not good in this game. LSU would've covered the spread easily if it wasn't for all the penalties.

LSU was way overhyped after that Auburn game. I bleed purple and gold but after today's game, I honestly feel LSU is a good team with an exceptionally great player. Our special teams are atrocious. (barring the Tre White return today) No "great" team plays a game with 14, yes 14 penalties for 130 yards. Receivers dropping passes, DB's playing completely out of position, missed tackles, hardly zero pass rush. No disrespect to Syracuse, they played hard and didn't quit. But no way LSU beats either BAMA or Ole Miss with this undisciplined style of play.

Rant/done

I thought Syracuse played really well.

Having said that I never want to see Ritter at an LSU game regardless if he calls it perfect or not. frick him.

Doesn't matter who your opponent is that sloppy of a game shouldn't happen. Anyone see ole miss beat bama for playing that half assed
