People have been leaving this state in droves long BEFORE as you say "those two" were in office.
And they have both piled on to this narrative. So, they're the current faces of that.

This is true. But it sure does feel good to be represented as The Best at the time compared to all the other important matters where we rank dead last or close to it.
Sure, but that in itself is a problem because it's considered a major priority in this state which it shouldn't be (not taking away from what that team accomplished). These politicians care more about kickoff time than economic issues.

I agree with you on that to some degree. So, the PEOPLE of the city and state are just as responsible as those serving office. That's why we have elections. You have people that want to sit around and shite on anything and everything but yet is not willing to do what's necessary to make change. You have people that sit around and watch FOX NEWS or CNN and bitch and complain about the world or area they live in.
Yet they are unwilling to get of their damn couch, put the beer down and go make a difference in their community. So those that are complaining has 3 options, choose to go do the Right Thing, choose to do the Wrong Thing, or choose to do NOTHING.

I got no problem booing any politician (regardless of party, color, whatever) that shows up to a celebration of a university sports team to try to boost their own image after the actions and policies of that same politician have actively hurt the university.

Downvote all you want-she should not be booed at a sporting event, I dont like her politics but come on….
She, as well as any politician, has no business speaking at this kind of event.
I wanna hear from Tate, Woodward, coaches, and players.

They both got very public performance reviews from their employers. “Elections have consequences” goes both ways.

I have no idea why we have elections anymore.
We went through the legal process of having an election to form a new city to better our community, and the results of that election meant absolutely nothing b/c this arse hat mayor decided she didn't like that election result so it's as if that election never happened now.

I'm not going to make a difference in a community that isn't mine, and where the difference needs to be made, isn't in my community, it's in NBR.
I make a difference in my community by being a normal human being who contributes to society by going to work and paying taxes, following the law, and being respectful to other people and property. THere's really not much else that's needed from a person in regards to their community.

Yeah I think a lot of people do hate these horrible leaders we have.
What is this “ignorance” you keep throwing in? What do you even mean by that? What would anyone in the crowd be ignorant about?

This. Any politician showing up to these things are just trying to get a "rub" of goodwill off of the popularity of the Championship team. She probably didn't watch a single game but definitely wanted to ride the coattails of their success. Any politician that shows up for these events are just leaches and deserve all the disdain that they receive.

Tre’s applause was louder than Skenes or Crews

She could learn a ton from Kip, one of the better by far. Kip would mingle in the crowd at most every function within BTR. He and I would talk, if I had a concern, he would address it, within days. I miss those days.

It is your right to express your opinion. Just as it is those who voice displeasure with the mayor or governor. If you feel the need to call people names because they dis agree with you, that is your right. However remember it appears you are an idiot in the eyes of far more people on this site as evidenced by the number of down votes you are receiving. Be careful hurling insults. They can act like boomerangs
