It could be the subconscious mind. Not sure that theory plays since JBE got booed too.
Or it could be that JBE and SWB curtailed basic human natural rights and freedoms for the past couple of years while doing whatever they wanted to do personally while presiding over a state/city that continues to be last in any quality of life metric and somehow they made it worse. Some people in this state and city are just full of hate, some are full of ignorance and some just don't like themselves let alone anybody else that has different views from them. It's a damn shame that people can't sat aside their differences for a few hours and enjoy what those young men accomplished. Instead, they have to shite on someone to make themselves feel special.

It's a damn shame you can't accept the fact that she is the Mayor of Baton Rouge and there's nothing you can do about it. The "great state of Louisiana" is a ruse. It's politicians like those two of why people are leaving this state in droves yearly. Just last year, we lost almost 100k of our residents to other places. A college team winning championships doesn't make this state "great". The job opportunities, the economy, the education system, etc. are what gives us that; and we have struck out on all of it.
The Tigers can win championships. The Pels can win the NBA Finals. The Saints can win another Super Bowl. Even my Cajuns can get lucky and win a championship themselves. The fact remains: those two contribute to this area's demise.

I really wish I could have asked broome what the final score of game 3 of the championship was. I doubt she could say, even though it was on the scoreboard in front of her.
