Even if it is 50/50 (which it wont be) then it is a hell of a lot better than the 95/5 yall had at BDS and what happened??????? 9-6

Damn. No reason to play the game now with this type of ironclad logic.

Do you know who gets the rest of the tickets? Sugar Bowl season ticket holders
The corporate sponsers get a huge chunk. More than the sugar bowl folks.
I agree with others though, it will be 70/30 LSU.

Is geography part of the educational standards in Alabama? Or is it too complicated of a subject to explain over there?

i also believe the tigers will win

This why I didn't want LSU to play bama again - we get to hear for a month about gumps and their delusions.

Idiot! The old Capital One building that sits at the foot of Bourbon Street was already lit up in Purple and Gold last night!
You fricking gumps are in for an awakening. The whole city will be full of LSU fans no matter how many tickets we have. Your team is going to have purple and gold burned in to their eyes like a shitty plasma tv before the game even starts.
Oh and gfy for good measure.

Dude, I live in New Orleans and have a block of 10 rooms booked as a preemptive move against gump bookings. I know several that have done the same. Enjoy your stay at the Buttrape Inn on Airline.
HEY! I've been trying to get a room downtown for 3 weeks now for myself and some friends! Let me know if you don't need a room?! Glad you are keeping the gumps away, regardless.

You guys can try all you want to say this is a home game but its not. It may have felt like an away game to Ohio State in 07' but Bama has won 3 NC's there (78', 79' and 92'). And of course we'll have 50% of the seats. Call it your house if you want but false impressions lead to big defeats. Its no more your home field than it is ours.
No, it's not a home game. We play our games in Tiger Stadium.

Your school will get 17k our of 74k total seats. So you're guaranteed at least that. Then, it all depends on how many double wides get sold in Alabama to attend the game.
I look for a bunch of Gumps to get to Nola in their car (now their new home since they sold their double wides) and occupy about 40% of the stadium.
60/40 LSU is a reasonable prediction.

Posted on 12/5/11 at 1:54 pm to bama1959
Gump. I want to hear no bitching about home field advantage after the game when we win again.

How much cash are street hustlers gonna take from these hayseeds when they come to the big city?

I think they haven't discovered how to measure anything longer than 100 miles yet, they just say "down yonder".

May not be, but LSU kicks arse in the dome, and has for years.
