Man I thought this thread was dead. I left the house at 8:00am with 20 pages and its 23 now at lunch. Do you guys not work?

Disappointing reading I might add except this jewel:

"Hey bama1959 go f*&k yourself. It’s our state, our dome and our house. Go back to your white trash, tree poisoning piece of sh*% state. You iron bowl tee-shirt wearing fig&%t. Oh..and by the way tell all your inbred bama friends thanks for pumping all their hard earned white trash money into our economy come January. We'll gladly take it. Bible belt, white trash hippie. "

I love the contradiction in posts like this.

I did comment in one of your honey badger for Heisman threads a few minutes ago. Javy Arenas who graduated Bama in 09' has a lot better stats. And he didn't get any Heisman votes. JA, 7 TD punt returns, 5 Int's and 5 sacks in 09'. TM has 2 TD Punt returns 2 TD fumble returns, 2 int's and 1.5 sacks. What's the big deal? Maybe Javy needed a better nick name and die his hair blond. Claiborne is a lot better player IMO.

I love the contradiction that you took the time to revive it with multiple paragraphs of drivel..

Thanks

Left out the forced fumbles number. Why?

I watched part of a Tulane game in the Dome on Fox Sports a couple of years ago. The sideline reporter counted a whopping 11 people in the Tulane student section. No exaggeration.

Nobody in N.O. gives a shite about Tulane. It's not like there's a large contingent of locals that even go there anymore. Rich East Coast kids get Mommy & Daddy to send them there so they can party in New Orleans.

Arenas did not have 7 punt returns for TD's in one season. You are just wrong. That was for his entire career.

Also, it's going to be 55-45 LSU

Or he had 1 Return TD in 09, not 7. He had 5 in his whole career, and he wasn't even better than PP7

You guys can try all you want to say this is a home game but its not. It may have felt like an away game to Ohio State in 07' but Bama has won 3 NC's there (78', 79' and 92'). And of course we'll have 50% of the seats. Call it your house if you want but false impressions lead to big defeats. Its no more your home field than it is ours.

I just hate it that y'all will miss out on the magic that is partying in NOLA (win or lose). tOSU and OU were able to drown their sorrows and see how Tigers truly are. I'd be happy to buy a Gump a drink on Bourbon after we in January. Too bad y'all will be to the ghost of Bear all the way home.

Say what you will but its the truth. This team is better than our 92' or our 09' championship teams. Those teams needed some luck to get though those seasons. We haven't needed it, with the exception of the game with you guys. Our defense and offense is better than yours but our weakness in the kicking game evens things up a bit. I'm pretty sure Saban will find a way to neutralize that weakness in the 6 weeks he's had to prepare for this one. I'll say this as my last post on this thread. If you win this one you will be considered one of the greatest teams ever. But I'm pretty sure we're coming out with a 10pt+ win this time. No matter the outcome its going to be the greatest CFB game in decades.

And when you lose again, come back on Jan. 10 and admit that this Tiger team is better than any bama team EVER! You said it here and we will be waiting to hear you say it again!

You sir, are so full of fail that you should just give up, shut down the 386 and open another pabst.

If you are going to spout off here, you better have your facts straight. Maybe your Gumpish slant works in Gumpland, but NOT here.

Hey Dingus, JA had 1 return in 2009. The 7 were a CAREER stat over 4 years.

People in NOLA stopped caring about Tulane beginning in the late 1940's...by the time the old stadium was torn down and they were playing in the Dome, the streetcar alumni were all gone...

It'll be 60/40 LSU man.

LSU gets 1/4 of the seats. Alabama gets 1/4 of the seats. The rest go to Sugar Bowl season ticket holders, corporations in New Orleans, major sponsor employees (Allstate), and Louisiana politicians.

The majority of those people are LSU fans. It won't be 50/50. I'm not saying it'll be a home game for LSU, but Alabama fans will be in the minority.

So what you're saying is this team needed some luck to get through the season, just like your '92 and '09 teams? I'm a little confused, but then again I don't get gump
