Yorke deserves to be "eaten" by knowledgeable LSU fans. His 3 years at Grand Canyon were fine... .325 BA, more BB than Ks, etc. But even there he wasn't a HR hitter like you would expect for a "big boy". At LSU he is batting .240 with the same number of Ks than BB. And he still doesn't hit many HRs.
The objective verdict: he is a guy who couldn't make the jump from inferior pitching to SEC caliber pitchers. That isn't hate...it is looking at his stats and coming to the obvious conclusion. He isn't a D-1 caliber starter either in the field or as a DH.
