Is an athletic subscription worth it? This is the second article in as many days that I wanted to read and couldn’t. I feel like I have 50 different subscriptions to random things already

From the sound of things the offense is all his.

So even though he’s trying to hide the fact his first two hires didn’t work out, we’re now on three OCs in three years.

Always a sign of tight arse ship!!!

Sterling, I’m not sure what it costs now but it was dirt cheap when I signed on. They are putting out good content & their roster of writers is growing rapidly. I’ll read 3-4 articles a week from there

And this one doesn’t even have a single game of positional coach experience...

Didn’t seem to make any difference the last 3 seasons. Offense has been just as atrocious under the new coaching staff.

Trying to hide the fact other hires didn’t work? Lol wut. No one cares about that but you. You’re content is so dumb-downed by engaging tiger Ree & buckeye joe that it makes you sound just as stupid.

Really? Then why do you keep shitposting?

Are you admitting to being a failure?

I’m all about LSU, but I no longer believe any pre-season hype. I like our personnel, but at the end of the day I’ll believe it when:

They Prove It On The Field

I don't care if it's the greatest show on turf or the Saints offense. I just want an effective offense and I think a look at personnel, evidence from the spring scrimmages and a combination of what we've heard from coaches and players should give us a somewhat accurate glimpse of what to expect.

From a personnel standpoint this is the first time since Mett 2013 that we have a returning senior level QB that is a proven quality QB. We return 5 WRs that had over 20 catches each from last season. I looked at LSU history and the last time we've done that is NEVER. We've returned 4 a few times. We've added the #1 and #6 RBs in the country and all but one OL starter comes back. This matches up pretty well with the 2013 team that averaged 453 yds and 35.8 points per game. That was with Cam Cameron as OC.

We know that some RPO and spread with quick read/release plays was used in the spring. We've heard the WRs, Burrow and other players talk about what they've practiced. Brady, SE and O have all discussed it "in detail". The difference in years past is the "in detail" part. Before Les left I read discussions back and forth whether Les ever actually said he would change the offense or there would be talk but more vague references to change.

Anyone that doesn't see the difference in the openness and detail discussed isn't really paying attention.

Will it be better? I have no clue. I feel confident it will be different from what we've seen though.

I believe Wade is still the coach is he not?
We will get a slap on the wrists over this but I bet you Wade will still be out head coach (unless he leaves on his own) when thisis all over.

You said he would already be fired and Alleva wasn’t going anywhere. How’d that work out for you?

I'm excited about Brady. Which is sad because he has never been more than a GA in college but hell change is change. In the meantime can anyone explain to me why E is still OC?

Because the head coach chooses who he wants to be the OC. In this case, O feels like he can get away with it, let an older mature coach have the ox title and let the new young energetic coach sprinkle his ideas in (that hasn’t proven himself yet) for cheap. Matter of fact, he has E for cheap. It works out for him that’s the only reason. If O would fire E, more then likely E would never land another OC position (quite aware he never wanted the position in the first place). It just works for O to do it that’s all. I guess you never worked somewhere where the boss has someone in a position delegating task to people that could prob do it better.
