It would appear that you may not know exactly how to proceed to improve our offensive scheme\performance.

Scheming can be complex and therefore challenging
It is definitely beyond my ability as a layman to decipher and apparently beyond both of yours though you are paid handsomely to do so.

That being the case, you might sit down with your newest Defensive guru and ask him.

Dave if you had to defend against a team with offensive players like ours, what scheme and plays would give you the most problems?

What would keep you up at night?

You might get some useful ideas and we sure do need some of those.

I'm just sayin....

Aranda would say none of our quarterbacks would keep anybody up at night.

Well, I'd stop playing offensive guards at tackle and tackles at center for one.

I'd also bench OL that aren't performing.

I'd stop calling 3 straight runs or 3 straight passes.

I'd avoid calling utterly stupid plays like having a right-handed QB roll to his left and in 3-5 steps trying to throw without his feet set to a WR.

I'd mix up the playcalling and not act like no defense can beat my crappy OL.

There are tons of things LSU could do, but nothing will be done. Sadly, I think we are just going to hit the November Embarrassment early this year.

There are literally 100 teams to put in this blank.

LSU's offense is that bad.

It's simple mix it up. Take your top 10-15 plays are run the hell out of those plays from multiple formations. Don't ask Harris to read the entire field. Establish his rhythm early and build from there. Open and Flex your Tight end I haven't seen our offense run the smash route in 2 years. When defenses have to account for a TE that's capable of getting up the seems it causes problems. TOP SEC defenses run a lot of Cover 2 you exploit cover 2 by targeting your backs and TE's or by throwing the deep Dig route or the 7 route.
