Back in '82, I used to be able to throw a pigskin a quarter mile.

Doug Williams had a huge arm also.

Definitely. Air McNair & Daunte Culpepper. Sammy Baugh. JR = numero uno, not close imo.

Northwest La produced some very strong armed quarterbacks in Ferguson, Bradshaw, Jones, Humphries, Booty, and am I forgetting someone? Woodlawn High School, La Tech, Ruston, its all connected with the exception of Humphries who wen t to Southwood High created out of the Woodlawn district. The coaches in Shreveport and at Tech were just teaching passing techniques when S La was still known for running the football.

Jeff George and Jim Everett had stronger arms than all of those guys. I'd put Randall Cunningham and Elway in there too.

eta: maybe not Jamarcus - he does have a cannon.

I don't know if it's anybody of the four listed, (maybe Bradshaw) but it sure as hell isn't Vick

Vick has the best arm ive ever seen

maybe not the accurate, but easily the strongest.

i think whats most impressive about JR is his ability to accurately throw the ball on a roll.

JR spins twice and slings it to Early Doucet.
JR to Doucet

Drew Brees threw a beautiful touch pass for a TD last night. It's not just about having a rocket for an arm.

Based on what I have seen I will go with Bradshaw however in a few years I very well will probably say Jamarcus.

Rumor was that J. Booty tossed it out of the stadium on the South Endzone side from the 20.

rumor has it that Booty tried to take it in himself against bama and got stuffed at the one yard line as time expired when we had like 2 guys wide open in the end zone.

I hear Jeff George could toss the pig skin?

I've read where his was considered the strongest arm in the NFL when he played.

What's this ... pound-for-pound like Roy Jones Jr? JaMarcus Russell is Mike Tyson.

Jim Plunkett was supposed to have a rifle for an arm.
