Weird sense of sarcasm, you could’ve just said it accurately with about 50 years

Stringfellow retiring.
Heard him on OTB talking about it around 8-8:15 this morning. Told a good Joey B - Burreaux jersey story.
He will be missed.

I had the honor to work with Greg in the equipment room back in the early 90's. I am proud to call him a friend, but most importantly I'm proud we are part of our own fraternity called the "Boss Boys". Jeff Boss was a legend and he made everyone around him better. I know Coach Boss is shining down on Greg as he embarks on this new journey. Greg, good luck as you enter this new chapter. As "JB" would say, "this ain't no hill for a stepper".
Congrats G-String!!!!
You must know my old high school and college roommate TG. TG and G String were both equipment managers in the early to mid 1990's and I know Greg really well through TG.

Stringfellow said the company offered him an ownership stake and recruited him to help finish building the facility and oversee its day-to-day operations once it opens.
Hopefully the steel structure doesn't collapse again.

Coach Nader was my position coach, I worked for Jeff Boss and if Greg Stringfellow is anything like either of those men, he is a blessing to all human kind...I wish him only the best...

Did he ever find his brother Sinjin?

GString is seriously one of the best people I’ve ever worked with in the athletic department. He will be missed

30 year retirement and now he can go in private sector and supplement his retirement income without the ridiculous long hours he puts in at LSU

He’s got his full vested pension but he can’t draw on it until he’s 62 without penalty. He’s got It made For sure

He's not retiring. Just leaving LSU for another job

I have had 3 family members work as equipment managers under Greg and all have nothing but the best things to say about him
