Bama is stout. Their special teams and DB's are their only close-to-average units.

Anderson and Sullivan can create a wedge to pry the rest of the winning formula.

Burrow and these two cats are hopefully practicing very specific pass plays to open that wedge.

Of course, there are Chase, Jefferson, Dillon, Marshall, Moreau and McMath to use as well.

But, use of Anderson and Sullivan are the pliers to open it all up.

Then, Bama gets spread out, the running lanes open, the Tigers possess and move the ball, and we minimize Tua's time on the field against our Aranda-scheming and aggressive Tiger D.

Get it to the 3rd QTR close (within 10), and let Devin and the best atmosphere in American sports, pin their ears back, and we'll take our chances.

We Comin'

Geaux Tigers!

Maybe it’s because we don’t use them correctly, but im starting to think that height like we have isn’t really as big of an advantage as we think it is.

Burrow has to hit more than 50% of his passes

Your on the right track, but we’ll have a solid lead at the end of the 3rd...it won’t be a nail biter.

Not that Burrow is a perfect QB, or anything, but I think a lot of his issues with completion percentage come from low percentage play calls. LSU stalls in the redzone a ton, and it's usually because they get down there and start running fade routes to the corners of the endzone. Those plays take a while to perfect, and Joe has only been here a few months.

Just stick to what works and quit trying to be cute. That would help Burrow a lot, in my opinion.

Burrow’s receivers need to quit dropping passes that are right in their hands. . .

Crossing routes and slants will be very important in this game.

With that said, on offense, Burrow’s pre-snap reads and his ability recognize bama’s defensive formations and check out of bad plays and into good plays is most important. This is how you beat a team with equal or better physical talent. You beat them with your brain.

If relying on PI calls on their DB’s is part of our strategy, we’ve got problems.

Has been my biggest disappointment this season. These two should be the focus of the offense.

But then again, they don't really attack the high point like 6'6" WRs

After wishing all season for a heavy dose of high,back-shoulder throws to Sullivan and Anderson, I’ve come to the conclusion that either Joe can’t throw them or the receivers can’t catch them.

Chase has high-pointed a few nice throws for TDs and good yardage this season.

No doubt. Chase has a Jarvis Landry quality to the way he goes after the ball in the air.

I hope he does this many, many times tomorrow

FPI profile has them at #54 in ovr special teams (LSU is #13).

That's not close to average... That is average at best.

If we actually use our TE we can move the ball. If he's allowed to release and not needed to chip and help the tackles it's a big wide open middle of the field

We spread it around more this year than any other year I can recall. Would love to see more Chase than Dillon in this game though.

As Pete Jenkins stated, Arkansas exposed bama with the run. You can run on bama. We will run the ball, wear them down and then Burreaux will make the long throws Etling couldnt make last year. our Big recievers and freshman along with some tightend action will make the plays we need to make to keep bama honest with our running game.

Aranda will use different looks to confuse Tua into an interception or two. Strong Special team play by LSU.
