to win games

Which games? We have 28 wins between the 2. 8 as Lee starting. 24 before last year and we dont accomplish that without both of them.

Jarrett Lee was an effing Elite 11 QB coming out of high school, and we are finally seeing what he can do with a great defense, and reps with the 1s.

Jordan was ranked #8. Weve been over this before, people say we cant recruit qbs, well according to rivals we had 2 top qbs, and yes crowton couldnt do shite with either.

this is a really unfair game to play. If you take out his best games, of course what's left will look crappy. That's true for any player.

Let's take away the A&M game, and JJ's 83 yard run against Tennessee:

108/190 (57%)
1,253 yards
6.59 YPA
4 TD
9 INT

rushing
110 carries
300 yards
2.73 YPC
5 TD

Stud numbers

I agree. But RobbBobb and others are making the opposite argument. It's me saying that Jordan Jefferson was awesome under Gary Crowton because of the Ole Miss and Alabama games.

Okay, what was he like the rest of the year?

First, it's drives not games.

Second, I discount them because both drives rely on converting on fourth down. It is not standard practice to use fourth down to convert. Those two drives are not standard drives. Thus, those two drives should be discounted.

I know, and I agree Crowton was a big problem last year. Stud and Krags are doing nice work with the offense, and Lee is making good throws and rarely putting the ball in bad spots.

So what. If it hadn't been for the fight at the club, JJ would be starting. You've hated JJ from the beginning of him starting. JJ in 09 had a better qb rating than Flynn in 07. Why is it so unthinkable for JJ to improve just like Lee. It's clear this I the first year either has had a good qb coach.

Posters like Robb nob is why I lurked r 5 years. He gets on here ad says that JJ sucked fr 3 yrs when in fact in 09 our passing game wa all we had. We ran for under 50yrds rushing 4 time in 09. He gets on here and screams JJ is so I accurate, when in fact JJ has a higher completion % than Lee or Flynn. I am so happy for Lee. Something tells me that if JJ were starting and putting up good numbers , Robb wouldn't be happy for JJ. Don't know why supposed LSU fans hate JJ.

Yeah, Jefferson definitely played worse in the last five games of last season than he did in the first eight.

Mac you act like Lee lit it up last year. Outside of two games he didn't look any diff than 08. I'm not sayin anything bad about Lee. He is our qb. But It's clear our qbs finally have a qb coach. Why can't JJ improve as well. Anyone saying he can't is just talking shite cause they don't know

A true equalizer would be how the 2 teams have fared vs AQ teams.
2010 avg 22ypg more than 2011 vs AQ.
Points per game have increased in 2010, but this is more due to scheme with more PA, imo.

I want Lee to start and play all year long too, but is your "hatred" of JJ genuine or just another opportunity to hate on Les?
