Folks are nuts.

We have the 88th ranked offense.

Our D has scored or put us in great position, and Lee has managed the games very, very, very well.

He should start, and he should be the starter unless the wheels come completely off.

Having JJ back is not a bad thing.

People act like Lee has become the second coming of Jesus. He has done a good job. But I dont understand the absolute stances either way regarding our QB situation.

Where was this improvement then?
I know its JUST a spring game.. you dont have to say that.
doesn't matter. He will get a chance and we will see. I know it will just kill you if he looks half decent.

The funny thing is, I don't think the results up to this point would be any different if JJ or JL was qb. Nothing revolutionary going on, defense, hand the ball off, play action. The difference is, the plays are getting in on time and there is no ridiculous substitutions. A well run offense can make the bad qb's look good. And obviously and bad ran offense can make a good qb look bad.

It doesn't matter because it is a scripted scrimmage. It's not a real game. Seriously, it's not. It's nothing more than one last practice and nothing more than that should be written into it.

in terms of W's, I agree. in terms of passing stats, I can't see Jordan being that efficient.

Probably right, what's the objective here?

Of course you can't. I know how ludicrous it sounds for someone to improve with better resources. Shocking really

Damn, like shooting fish in a barrel. You say our defense keeps giving us great field posItion, then complain about not gaining enough yards on offense? Can't get credit for yards after crossing the goal line.

And for my old buddy Nonsense, when I get home I'll be glad to link you to numerous posts, maybe even some of yours, where everyone touts JJ's awesomeness based on one bowl game, so apparently partial seasons are ok for his supporters but not Lee's?

just posting, just posting.

and I should probably explain that a bit. Jordan can get hot and complete passes in bunches, I just don't think he's ever been that accurate with the short passes. I think KragStud recognized this and was gonna have him go downfield more. he can hit those, but they're obviously more difficult to hit with the consistency of say Lee hitting bubble screens. so I'm saying he'd probably still do well throwing, but the comp % may not look the best (see: the Cotton Bowl). if that makes sense.

this is truly silly

LSU's total offense probably won't rank so high this year because of the defense creating short fields, and the punter pinning teams deep.

do people not understand that?

it's TOTAL yards. LSU's TOTAL yards won't be much with short fields.

jesus christ on a cross people

Disagree ...I think Lee was good to start with just bad at reading the field. That comes with experience. I believe he would have and has naturally progressed to where he is now.

Look at Peyton and Colt. Both needed time to understand reads and see the field, only game time experience gives you that. IMO.

Define "look good".
I guess you are one of those knowlegable fans that expect every player to perform perfectly ever play, practice or game. By perfectly, I of course mean to perform the way the fan expects him to. Apparently he "looked good" enough to the offensive coaches and Les Miles. But what do they know?
