They hardly even play it now. Also the DJ needs to go. Was at the Arkansas game and it seemed like the band hardly played the whole game.

The truth about Tiger Stadium is that it’s becoming over produced. We have a whole marketing team dedicated to putting on the “show” that is Death Valley. While you do need that for certain issues to run smooth, it has killed the raw and authentic nature of the stadium.
The energy is now how can I consume the game, sounds and action rather than creating and being the atmosphere.

I don’t think I’ve ever really heard the crowd sing along to it. Not that you can hear anything (including your own thoughts) when they have the speakers cranked to 11 anyway.
I’m sure it depends where you sit. Although I feel like if you’re next to someone singing “bitch I’m from Louisiana” you’ll probably hear STTDB all night either way.
Again I’m not saying the song is good. It’s not. I just think the profanity argument is a weak one.
I have heard a ton of tailgates blasting the unedited “bitch I’m from Louisiana,” and I would agree that it’s pretty trashy.

The DJ is the worst idea ever. The GBFTL has become so terrible under the past and current leadership. Can we not find someone who can turn this around?

I agree . What about out of state recruits hearing that song while visiting . Probably a turn off . It doesn’t feel very welcoming
