the sudden outpour of support for mental health of collegiate athletes makes me have an idea. If he is struggling then LSU needs to do anything in their power to help him through it.

I 100% agree. Coach O is a walking PR nightmare.
However that's not Gilberts fault.

I agree. Everyone is struggling. I will pray for the kid.. I’m just not a fan of vague speculation that only adds to confusion

I have some inside info and I have said a couple times here my rough estimate of what he is dealing with in an anchored thread. But true insiders (of which there are hardly any on this website) can't just dump every little thing that happens here for all to see. It would be chaos and you'd possibly lose your job if they ever found your identity (for people within the program/athletic department).

I feel you- and I’m not trying to be a dick. I’m just saying it’s an anonymous message board- people are going to jump to conclusions if facts aren’t offered. If you can’t say, then it’s all good. But this board is just going to draw their own conclusions. Right, wrong, or indifferent.
