Do people really want Mainieri fired after winning the SEC?

I do ever since he admitted to taken a year off and did nothing. He makes around a mil a year, god forbid he get out of the tanning bed to recruit some guys. I will be happy whenever he gets fired at some point in his career here.

They wanted him fired after the app st series then after the auburn series because we were "terrible". We won the sec but lost in a super regional and they want him fired. It's really logical if you think about it.

We played terrible baseball at the worst possible time. It happens, get over it.

It happened to LSU before, just substitute the word baseball for football.

I understand having a bad game or series, but crap. I don't get over something like that so easily. Don't want us to become the new OU.

yeah, he admitted it and I'm sure he's back to working hard on the recruiting trail ever since....so? Should we fire the guy who just won the SEC title?

Yes we were average on offense at best this year. However we went 7-2 against the 3 SEC teams in omaha. 6 of those games being on the road. Last weekend was just not good at all.

True dat. The pitching, as per norm, held up well enough to win. Save Eades spotting them 4. None of that was much different from our SEC season. But when mediocre hitting actually takes a dip and your best hitters in Rhymes and Nola tank- you done.

We should immediately fire every coach when the season ends. No matter how it ends.

Well we havent gotten many good players(or havent coached them up enough) since he admitted that. I think he thinks too much about the bats and gets small ball hitter instead of getting hitters like UF FSU UCLA and teams like those.

Moscona is a douche but yea im pissed we lost to stony brook too and we didnt make omaha. However when i look at it we did better than i expected this year. Last weekend was fricking painful to watch, no doubt, but i dont feel the need to fire our coach. Javi on the other hand can gtfo but i dont make the decisions.
