Actually we were a pretty crappy hitting team most of the year. Mediocre at best. It just got worse vs SB. If it makes you feel better, call it a season long slump.

Lol. ..yea..so why even have a hitting coach?... I played juco ball, and our coach helped me tremendously. He simplified my swing, made it more compact , and helped my approach at the plate...The hitting coach is overrated is a load of b.s.

Yes we were average on offense at best this year. However we went 7-2 against the 3 SEC teams in omaha. 6 of those games being on the road. Last weekend was just not good at all.

It appears we have been eliminated by the Bad News Bears. What a statement about our program at this time. Their Ace went a whole 2 1/3 against UCLA...You know, number 44, the guy who pitched a complete game against us.

So happy to see this happen.... Nothing against Stony Brook but the BS around how great they were was disgusting. We sucked bad and got hammered by a pretty mediocore team. Our 2009 team beats Stony Brook by at least 12 runs over a 2 game stretch.
