I have so much negative to say about the decisions coming from the front corner of the LSU dugout, but I don't want to be a nega-tiger. Great job by the players to fight with every last swing. I really don't know if the overnight delay helps LSU or SBU. Both teams have to feel like they let it slip away.... Or that they can score the winning run.

I think LSU has to feel better after today. I know I'd feel terrible if LSU blew saves in the 9th, 10th, and 11th today.

Decisions look odd in hindsight. Most base running/bunting mistakes were due to not executing. The calls themselves weren't bad. When you ate having trouble hitting as a team, you have to be aggressive running the bases to have a chance.

Mainieri's 8th inning was very bad. The one good thing Fields does is bunt and you pull him in a bunting situation for a guy that probably never bunted once at Dunham. Then the 3-2 no out double steal was just as bad.

All agreed except the double steal/hit-and-run call was more than just bad. It was completely awful.
