He should be the leader of this team and this defense. There is no reason why he shouldn’t be.

The lack of effort he gave last year and in the 2nd half last night was abysmal.

He needs to be held accountable and sit his arse until he learns about pride for his team.

Give me Ricks all day over him!

Jesus you watched that game and your comment is that Stingley needs to be benched?

He had one great play and one play he didn’t show maximum effort. Rest of the game they stayed away cause he’s THAT good

Stingley is not a leader. Doesn’t live up to big moments. He very good in coverage but not a guy you would build a defense around.

You blame Stingley for giving up 250 yards rushing and not being able to hold an edge?

I would posit that stingley’s “account” is part of the problem. Hard to focus on the broke fools in the locker room when you’re already a millionaire

Man y’all need to lay off stingley, it makes people look stupid when they say shite like that.

The only bad play was the one where he thought the guy was gonna be out of bounds if he pushed him . Not necessarily an effort thing just more of a mistake.

Mel kiper has him number 4 on his big board . He never got burnt last night. If you are referring to the 3rd down it was on Baskerville

If y’all want to talk about effort, the target is major burns and damone Clark . I don’t want to see Clark on the field

Clark and burns aren’t wearing 7.. he damn well knows what is expected (leader-wise) when you wear #7 as a DB here. He clearly shouldn’t be benched and didn’t play terrible. But the most hyped DB in recent memory has to show a little leadership

Stingley doesn’t care about being a leader or about playing for LSU. He knows he’s good enough to get drafted first round no matter what. He will get an “injury” after our next bad loss and sit out the rest of the season. All he has cared about since 2019 is the NFL.

I’m not arguing, that just sucks. Our DBs were scary when I was young. I remember we made jay cutler cry during a game his last year at vandy. Laron was that dude our current team lacks

Stingley’s job is to cover wide receivers. Not one single wide receiver caught a ball last night. None. He did his job flawlessly.

I agree about Clark. He's not an SEC level LB. They ran at him all night because they know he's not aggressive, always out of position and is easy to block. If he stays in there, teams are going to kills us on the ground!

2 of their 3 TD passes went to WRs, including the last one and that was Stingley’s man. He didn’t just miss the tackle, he got beat on the catch.
