The worst thing about this injury is he got hurt while they practicing CB blitzes which have never even been in the playbook...

Omg are you serious? Lmao. They should never have him blitzing.

He was out of Oklahoma game and back at practice a couple weeks later.
He actually still played, sparingly, in the Oklahoma game

Yup... Also have been told that Ed O just makes up random shite to practice on, against UCLA early in prep for the game they were practicing against 2 TE sets and Orgeron got pissed and they never practiced against it again and low and behold what did UCLA run... 2 TE sets...

So we have sources saying that he will play this week, that he will be out 6-12 weeks, and that it is a very serious injury-done for the year. All in this one thread. Incredible

The done for the year part is based on a 6-12 week recovery. He’s not going to come back if that’s the case.

Nope, just pointing out how Ed O is waisting talent just like Miles did. I like Orgeron and want him to figure it out, but from all the shite he has been pulling and has done it’s not looking good.

He was out most of camp with an injury. I’d be curious if the two were related somehow.

Even if what you said is true, keeping your players occupied with drills during practice has nothing to do with *wasting talent.

Probably one of the many O haters that disappeared during the 2019 season, only to return like a bad case of hemorrhoids.

I can see how the 2020 season could have caused that for some fans.

When I said “waisting talent” I was referring to our 5-5 record last year and going into a must win game already in the 4th game of the year

That's about the same time frame of Logans injury.
Logan suffered his injury early in camp. According to O recently they are thinking he could be back for the Auburn game next week. So we are looking at about a 6-8 week time period between injury and returning to play. If that is the case, then you would be looking at in a best case scenario a return in mid November with the likelihood it could be a week or two longer. At that point you're talking about a return for 1-2 games (and perhaps a bowl game). Given the likelihood he would be a 1st round pick next season even if he doesn't play another snap at LSU I would say (if it is the same injury with the same recovery time frame) that while it may not technically be a "season ending" injury, in effect it would serve as one.

So because you keep saying it, just helping you out here…it is “wasting” not “waisting”

Has anyone made the joke yet that Stingley doesn't like playing Miss St.?
