The test results are only good if within 72 hours of the test. A standard covid test often takes more than 72 hours to get your results back. The lab that manages most of the tests around here is in Houma, and was essentially destroyed. I had a test on Friday last week and still don’t have results back. The test is not a real option. The odds of getting it back in time for the results to be useful are slim.
