I'm simply asking a very easy question. LSU implemented a policy no other sec school did.
I will admit us being the only one does bother me. And I do hope we drop the policy, which will depend on how the other sites without restrictions do. I'm pulling for them. As long as it's in place, however, I don't see what's so hard about sitting in your car for three minutes to get tested, without actually having to get a jab.

We’re the only ones NOT being tone deaf given how most places have this policy.
Who?
I live in North Carolina not here. Or any acc state or big 12 state that I know of. Maybe Oregon?

quote:why would I? PCR test aren’t made for detecting COVID. The FDA admitted that. They can’t tell the difference between COVID and the flu (which is why the flu seemingly disappeared in 2020). Why would I go and get a BS test, pop positive and not only not get to go to the game but have to “quarantine” because of said false positive. I shouldn’t have to jump through medical hoops for a disease with a 99.98% survival rate to go to a fricking football game
but they won’t drive to a local CVS to get a 2 minute test

Gonna be my second year in a row not watching a single game. I’ll check the scores after the game here on TD, but I just don’t have enough interest to tie up 3+ Hours of my time watching it anymore.
Once proud alum. The whole damned school can fall into a sinkhole now for all I care. Unless things change I won’t spend a dime for my 3 kids to go there.

The stadium is going to be packed with or without the cry babies who are whining about the policy.

Our state and our university are under the direction of complete idiots.

The risk of dying from COVID is the same as dying in a car accident driving to the game. Seriously. And that’s if you believe the COVID numbers.
Ban driving to LSU football games.

I don’t care what you do. All I know is that it’s a requirement to enter the stadium this year. Do it or don’t do it. You have a choice.

My first is currently enrolled and loves LSU. We are a five generational LSU family on my side and three generations on my wife’s side. My youngest in high school will not be going to LSU.

Still can't believe LSU is the only SEC with the covid policy
You will have 30% who just won't allow themselves to realize how stupid the policy is because they have already committed themselves to the idea that it is needed.

Is it an open ended policy? Can it revert back to normal policy by SEC play or we stuck with this all year?
The policy never made sense and was always a means to an end.
So, no, there is nothing that could change that would initiate a change in the policy.

Possibly. Congrats for supporting retarded leadership. Doesn't surprise me though

NO OTHER SEC school
How about in the State of Louisiana? Outside of liberal Tulane?
Cajuns and McNeese have no restrictions. Does covid stop at the Tiger Truck Stop?

I can’t imagine that is true. Per your statement, we are stuck with this forever.

I was about to post the same thing
Why doesn’t ULL and McNeese have the same policy?
I think they’re both in LA. LOL

You are stuck with it until something counteracts the forces that put this into place in the first place.
I have news for you, it has nothing to do with COVID infection rates or hospital stats. Those have been on the decline for a while. Louisiana is QUICKLY returning back to normal after the Delta spike.
