Vincent should be moved to FS, Stevens to LB and Delpit back to SS.

In 2016, LSU blitzed 400 times on 1453 pass rushes. That's 27.5% of the time.

Something tells me this should read "since" instead of "in".

I wouldn’t say that.

I would suggest it confirms Aranda hasn’t changed his approach. Which I think was the intent of the OP.

Which means the only other variables are the players and competition.

That's why I chose to say "virtually useless" and not just "useless".

It does show that Aranda hasn't changed his approach, but isn't that problem here...that if it's not working for us that something should change?

I still love Aranda and think he's a great coach, but our pass rush is L A C K I N G to say the least. They gotta figure out a way to get in the backfield or Tua (and others) could have too much time in pocket.

I think he most important defensive star is defensive SP+ which considers many different Things and is an advanced metric which accounts for when backups are in, when game is out of hand, etc, has bama 11 and LSU 36 I believe. Wish I had the link. People think this bama defense is bad but they are still a top 10 defense. We are getting there.

LSU currently ranks 25th in total Defense,

This tells you that the defense is not nearly as terrible as some people here think it is. Is it 2011 good? No, not even close but it’s still not the disaster some make it out to be.

Yeah but they’re not really. They have not faced a single offense worth a damn all year. Ole Miss at 43 is the best offense they have faced followed by A&M at 59 and South Carolina at 71. All of them put up over 21 points on them.

Chaisson needs another year. His technique is meh at best. Physical freak, all the tools, but he’s got to learn how to shed blocks even if they are holding

Danielle Hunter v2.0.
Would love to have him stick around another year.

It takes all of that into consideration and still has them at number 11 and us further back. There defense is still very good

The last couple games the scheme seems to be rush 4 to try to get pressure early in the game. Then when the offense tires out send the blitzes and get pressure.

Seems to have worked so far.

Amount doesn't apply strictly to weight.

If you say "We had the same amount of running plays as passing plays", would you find something wrong with that sentence?

Oh my God. Are you retarded? I'm so sorry.
