Statistical comparison of LSU and FSU

Stats like these are fun to look at and give some insight into teams’ strengths and weaknesses, but they have no way of accounting for momentum, motivation, home field advantage, and other intangibles that are sure to influence this Super Regional series between two powerhouse programs.
On the momentum front, LSU (40-24) has won 10 of its last 13 games and is healthier than it’s been all season. Likewise, Florida State (39-21) has won eight of its last 11 games and was outstanding in the Athens Regional where the Seminoles dominated No. 4 national seed Georgia twice by a combined score of 22-4. But there’s no denying what an

"About the stats: You may have noticed that the two teams have identical batting averages, yet Florida State is ranked higher. I have no idea why this is, but that’s the way it’s shown on the NCAA’s official statistical rankings."

Are you ever going to have an original thought? Or is that all you know how to do is post articles that other people write.

Can we have a Tiger Ree meet & greet? I want to meet the man behind the copy and paste.

Basically, the offenses and starting pitching are a wash. Florida State has a little more pop in their bats but LSU has a little more overall team speed. LSU has an advantage in bullpen depth and LSU's biggest advantage is in defense, primarily infield defense, especially at 3rd base where Florida State's star hitter Drew Mendoza is a huge liability, fielding at an .895 clip for the season. The more balls we can hit to 3rd base this weekend, the better. I would really like to see Brandt Broussard lay down some bunts to apply pressure on him specifically.

You forgot to copy and paste the rest of someone else’s work bro.
I’m encouraged that they suck arse at stealing bases. I think FSU is going to hit a wall after their emotional regional win and we take this one in 2.

.320 avg, 16 HR, 55 rbi...Advantage FSU

We need to be aggressive and put the ball in play to put pressure on their defense.

As Lotto said in 8 Mile, "don't matter, bruh."
Let's just hope the outcome is different.

This is some classic shite right here. You are literally TOO STUPID to insult. That's pretty bad.

Season long statistic tell part of the story but i don’t think they really tell you a lot about the current teams playing. I’d be more interested in knowing the stat comparison since May 1st. That’s when teams have their regular starters playing everyday and when you should be starting to play your best baseball. I don’t expect anyone to do it nor do I have the time I just feel that would paint a clearer picture of what we should expect this weekend.

Alphabetical order. F comes before L.

More than a "little" pop. FSU hits with quite a bit more power than LSU. They are top 20 in HR's per game and top 25 in slugging percentage.
