Why do you think Brown should be an option at first? He’s the fastest on the team and has the strongest arm of all of our OFs. Hes developed into a legit 5 tool player, so you want to put him somewhere that neutralizes 2 of his tools, especially when we have at least 3 other players who have just as much experience but without the defensive talent?

Help me understand your logic because I just don’t see it.

Braun/brown/pearson need to be taking reps at 1st this week

Our outfield is just fine. Leave brown exactly where he is.

Braun needs more time at 1B. He's better than Yorke in every phase. And I feel like he'll be a middle of the order guy for us next year.

Yamin has earned more playing time too. I feel like he's been the best defensive catcher.

1st-Yamin/Braun
2nd-Dardar
SS-Milam
3rd-Pearson
RF-Brown
CF-Curiel
LF-Stanfield
Catcher-Serna/Yamin
DH- Arrambide/Serna

Serna, Yamin, Braun are your more than 1 option. Serna played an OK 1B last week, Yamin is a huge target, is athletic, and is even listed on LSU’s roster as a C/1B. Braun was the best 1B recruit to make it to campus.

All better options than Jake Brown at 1st.

Where would you put Cade in batting order next game? I say second.

My take:

1st-Braun/Serna
2nd-Dardar
SS-Milam
3rd-Pearson
RF-Brown
CF-Curiel
LF-Stanfield
Catcher-Bide/serna/yamin
DH- Yamin/Braun/Bide

And then pinch hit Tanner Reaves at a strategic moment?

In a vacuum without injuries to the catcher position, that would be true. But its not wise to have your 3 catchers in the lineup for obvious reasons. And we know serna and bide will be in the lineup. So we need someone else who preferably has played 1st to cross train besides braun. You cant use all your catchers in the lineup together

I agree with this except

Pinch Runner: Patrick

I’d rather see Harden get more opportunities
