The lack of D lineman was to me was the biggest reason we lost to Troy. It was not the purported meddling. Deondre Clark played most of that game, probably more than he played his entire LSU career. True freshman Nick Farrell played considerable time, too.
so a dline guru cant take 4 star backups and beat a team that south alabama pushed around?

We didn't get many possessions because we couldn't get the ball back.
Or because LSU had 3 turnovers??
(Really they had 4 but one was the INT that iced the game)

the fact that he is arguing that O cant take 45 4 and 5 star athletes and beat a team without a single 4 star player should tell you everything you need to know.

Spot on and totally agree

It wasn’t the meddling at all but of course that’s what everyone attacks because it’s so easy to
We had 4 turnovers and gave them the ball a lot. In turn they wore us down & ran for like 300 yards.
But it was duh meddling, they say!!

We didn’t play the game with fewer DL, we played the game with scout team members getting considerable snaps - and it showed.
straight bullshite

The only player who I can imagine you are referring to is Jonathan Rucker, who saw minimal action in the game.
Anyone else who played was a scholarship athlete.

If we can't beat Troy with fewer DL at LSU, then we are beyond fricked.
As usual, this idea that an 18 year old linemen should automatically be better than a 22 year old linemen is false. Linemen get bigger and stronger each year. A guy like Taven Bryan for Florida was a nobody a year ago and then becomes a 1st round pick.

Tell me another game that Deondre Clark made 4 tackles in.
I’ll hang up and listen.

By “they” , you are referring to Orgeron, who admitted in his Monday press conference after the game that he had spoke with Canada about changing the offense??
Thought so.

So saying that Orgeron and his staff were severely out coached should make us feel better in some strange way?
Interesting take.

its amazing watching you defend this staff after years of shitting on an actual successful lsu coach.

[quote]I'm honestly not convinced this kid will make that much of a difference. Sure, we'll have a decent QB, but that doesn't change who's calling the plays. [/quote
“If we just had an above average QB, this team would win championships.”
- the rant
Also, you’re sleeping on CEH and Curry.

Yes 4-star, 5th year senior that never made it to the two-deep, yes, that one.
Posted on 5/10/18 at 9:20 am to The First Cut
He did it two other times, vs Arkansas in 2014 and vs Sam houston St in 2014.
You do know that Clark had extensive game experience, even if it doesn’t show up in the box score, right?
You were better off making an argument with Neil Farrell at least he was a true freshman.

If LSU announced today that Neal Brown was the head coach and O was demoted back to DL, I would argue that is an upgrade at head coach.
