again, youre telling me that this DLINE god cant take 4 star backups and beat an oline that SOUTH ALABAMA pushed around?

Apparently neither could Aranda.

The buck stops at the HC, but the D's performances vs Miss St and Troy or Cuse for that matter left a lot to be desired.

So now you recognize three DL that played extensively and were not regular two-deep players.

But I’m lying.

Clark is not a 3-4 defensive linemen. He was recruited as a DE for Chavis' system, where the DEs were smaller. We haven't recruited any DLs like him since Chavis left.

Yes 4-star, 5th year senior that never made it to the two-deep, yes, that one.

youd think such a great dline coach could take 4 star players and have more success than the 2 star players at south Alabama

You said “scout team” as if LSU were throwing out walk-ons they had plucked out of Middleton the day before , not 4 star recruits who had been passed on the depth chart.

Are you always this obtuse, or when you’ve been proven wrong ?

if you aren’t on the two-deep, you’re on the scout team. There are enough walk-on players to field a scout team.

The lack of D lineman was to me was the biggest reason we lost to Troy. It was not the purported meddling.

I had you upvoted and switched to a downvote when I read this.

It was 100% on O and his meddling of the offense.

Right??

I guess the 7 scholarship WR who aren’t on the two deep are on the scout team...

LSU has three quarterbacks (Myles Brennan, Lowell Narcisse and Justin McMillan) currently competing for the starting job, but no one distanced himself from the others in the spring. In fact, the trio only muddied the picture further. That’s why LSU is interested in Burrow, and judging by the permission to contact letter crafted by Ohio State—which included only LSU and Cincinnati—that interest is mutual.

Etling talked of building chemistry with Chark when the two of them were on the scout team...
