Keeping Kelly is going to cost LSU a shitload of money. By the time we finish a complete rebuild for next year it’s going to be in the tens of millions. What OC in their right mind would come to LSU next year without a ton of guaranteed money and major NIL promises for players? We are going to overpay for an offensive coordinator or get a crappy one like Tommy Rees.

BK said during the off-season that if anything, he knows OL and his history proves he knows OL and trust him (paraphrasing). This is when the entire reporting was how bad the OL looked.

How can anyone trust that now from what we've seen?

Is that what you think I’m suggesting? I’m suggesting the opposite.

Hire a coach who runs his own offense.

Sometimes I have no idea what you're trying to express.

I think earlier you said there was zero chance Kelly took a vacation during the bye week, based on what? Same thing on ST, etc.

I was expressing the ridiculousness of a coach taking time off during the season.

Easier said for you since it's not your money. It's more likely he gets little to no support at the end of this season than support. Boosters are dried up. They're not going to be convinced to support either a buyout or a huge tag for rosters after this year. Plus economically Louisiana is mega poor which is why their average Joe collectives is one of the worst in the SEC. Most of LSU's collective is held up by boosters. Other schools get boosters and average person support. Ole Miss has been thumping LSU in NIL let that sink in. You can't sell to the average Louisianian to go dump money into NIL.

Yeah, it's difficult to understand stupid people sometimes.

This is the exact post and response...

Lost in the Saturday melts, the most reliable inside guy that’s on On3 said after the game that Brian Killy went on a relaxing vacation during our bye week, and the powers that be are well aware and are pissed.

quote:

There's no way this is true.
So it didn't happen, like you said? You were just pointing out the ridiculousness?

I love idiots that double - triple - quadruple down on their idiocy.

The part where I explicitly said this staff was incapable of solving the talent / development issues on the OL should have clued you in.

I guess it’s easier to pretend the stupid one isn’t you.

I have no idea if it’s true. If it is true, it’s a major problem and indicative if a guy who isn’t willing to do what it takes.

You struggle with reading between the lines it seems. It’s not uncommon for someone who admittedly struggles with understanding. Anything other than literal straightforward communication is misunderstood.

It’s ok. I’ll post more directly towards you when responding to you.

In this case, so you don’t get confused, I’m mocking you for a lack of intelligence.

This is like cake bro.

Without even the icing.

God knows I struggle with cognitive reasoning and logical thought. You definitely got that right.

--- I seriously lol'd to this response. I could not even do it better. So good.

Dude we have a culture problem. Not a lack of talent. Bringing in more ridiculously overpriced free agents would most likely magnify thos problem, not solve it.

Where is all the culture stuff coming from?

Because up until this game the defense has been in every game and played hard. I didn't see the defense giving up either against vandy. Perkins did some and had a terrible game.

They missed whit weeks for sure.

They needed more vets on the o line, a new oc that doesn't answer to kelly, and a new o line coach.

Everyone shitting on this idea is not thinking clearly. Anyone that knows football will tell you that it’s more the players than coach. I’m not saying it’s the answer but it’s not a bad idea. Kelly is a lot of things but he’s not stupid.
