He can't see a hole like Ford. He runs into blockers instead of waiting. He is good but far from great. True story.

Ware had 11 carries for 2 yds or less yesterday. Quite a few 0yds gained too.

Sure Ware should get the bulk of the carries, but to limit Ford to 1-5 carries a game is ridiculous.

Agreed. Ford needs to split more.

It seems like he's always a step away from breaking a big one.

I like Ware, but he is clearly the second best RB on the team.

Ware is only going to get better, but what I think is often overlooked is just how good Ridley was.

I don't think he was a superstar, but he was better than most people gave him credit for. Ware might run with a little more power than he did, but Ridley had decent speed and lots of moves and balance. He was truly a pleasure to watch and would have been a beast this year.

We all just don't realize how good we have it with our backs!

I wouldn't say ford is better than Ware. I would say he deserves more carries than he's getting.

Ware runs between the tackles repeatedly. There are few holes.

He's probably the 3rd or 4th best back in the SEC tbh.

Richardson, Dyer, Ballard/Ware.

From what I saw in the stadium this weekend, there's a UT DB that would agree with you.

Ware is a beast of a runner. If you look at his stats most people would say "Eh, he doesn't seem to be very special" but you watch him play and you see that he's special.

Eddie Lacy doesnt get the PT, but he could easily be one of the best in the SEC too IMO.

he runs like a truck and get a lot of big gainers too.

Ware runs lots of times early. Sets them up for the 3/4th quarter.
Besides, he blocks the best, can catch and even throw!. I think Blue is next best (blocker).

This is true. I am not bashing Miles, but Ware's ypc suffers because he repeatedly runs up the middle against 8+ in the box. Yes, so far we have played smashmouth and dominated in the second half, so I am not complaining. But the obvious runs into an 8+ man front (even worse when T-Bob is at center) certainly hurt Ware's average ypc.

I bet Ware' YPC average jumps up when comparing first half of the game to second. It is frustrating as a fan, but we take advantage of out defense by using a grinding, clock eating running game.

Ware just pounds away in the first half, and then int he second he and the fresher backs do some damage.

I think we should use ford more to stretch the ball to the perimeter some, and would love to see more screens. Ware also has the best hands on the team

LSU has three solid backs and a couple of backups that are pretty good so LSU has five backs that could probably play for another team.

Ware's numbers are not going to be great because he mainly runs between the tackles and we are facing 8-9 man fronts.

The othere backs except for hilliard are more of cut and get outside speed backs with some power, they will the majority of the time hit the outside hole after one cut instead of punishing people between the tackles.

In retrospect who cares about YPC are we not one of the best running teams in the sec and are we not 7-0.
