Speculation thread: Which players don’t return

It happens every year; we always seem to lose a player that we all believe will be a big contributor next year. I believe Mainieri is gonna go scorched earth after this year, so we may lose more than one or two guys. My main candidate that I believe gets ran off is Feduccia. Any thoughts?

We will know a lot about Feduccia in the next week. We have talented catchers that are committed but draft risks. Though I think both make it to campus, and if I was a betting man I would say atleast one of them is guaranteed.

I think Zach Hess will leave although he won't be getting much money from MLB. Probably Cam Sanders as well.
My big question is Antoine. I really hope he stays and graduates because I do not see him ever making the big league.

Watson is basically the OF version of slaughter. He’s talented but does some stupid shite that one more season won’t fix.i really hope this recruiting class has some grinders in it like freeman, Kramer, poche, Deichmann etc. smart guys who will do whatever it takes

Watson, Hess, and Sanders are gone to the draft. Dup is questionable.
Reese, Moffit, Feduccia, Broussard, Reid, Taylor Peterson all told to hit the road if they get drafted. If not, they can beg and pray for their spot back in the fall.
Doughty is given a manager role.
Vietmeier, Nowack, and Kodros are told to go find a JUCO to make room for the incoming class.
There is no reason for Webre to go anywhere. No idea where y'all get that idea.
If by some miracle we get Turang on campus and Smith is healthy, Hughes may get told to find a new team.

Broussard and Reid aren’t going anywhere. I don’t think any of the guys in that category you mentioned are going to get drafted. People want them off the team for a reason. They aren’t very good

I think the only reasoning behind this was that he didn't travel with the team (at least that is what was posted on the rant) and Hilliard and Labas did and they were hurt.

Reid is an average bench player, but with the class we have coming in, he may have to finish his career somewhere else.
The rest of the guys I listed would be late round picks and paid peanuts to fill a GCL team, but if I'm Mainier, their options are to sign or get the boot.
