Don't want to get into politics. But I was wondering when someone would bring this up. He is Speaker of the House and Steve Scalise is Majority Leader, the second most powerful position in the House. Scalise is from Louisiana and also went to LSU.
It seems they could have called the SEC Office and said if you want your sports legislation lay off LSU. I'm not saying let them play but stop libeling LSU. If you don't your bill will never get a vote in the House.
I know I am old but a little history. A condition Russel Long put on the NFL for them getting their antitrust exemption was New Orleans got a pro team.
I guess they have more important things to do then stand up for LSU and its fans.
