Bama needs to go down.

Yeah. And you know they'll get the benefit of a doubt if there is some sort of scenario with 3 one loss teams and a ranking tie breaker

Are you people crazy? If Alabama loses, it's not like they are going anywhere. They'll still be able to recruit at a high level... like being able to take a top player or 2 from La (as they've done the past few years).

If A&M can establish that they're for real, then LSU landing those Houston and SW La players becomes a lot harder. LSU doesn't need that.

This.
Bama is the threat, no matter what their 1st game looked like.
aTm has no D and are no better than in 2012.

Best case is aTm beats Bama,
LSU skulldrags them both enroute to the NC,
Cam flips to back LSU ,
and LC's mom laughs in his face.
Frickin' Nirvana.

This is like asking me to vote for Romney or Obama.... Do we have an option C? I'll take that. The blackhole sounded solid though.

Unless Bama plays a team of Muslims I will pull against them

Asking me to pick who to root for in this one is like asking me if I like al Qaeda or the Taliban better. I will watch the game because it's a huge matchup and because it's consequential to the SEC West/SEC and national title picture. But I will anguish when either does well while at the same time enjoying seeing it happen at the other team's expense.

I can't root for Bama, though I'm really growing a hatred for Johnny football. I'm with the black hole opening up idea posted on the first page.

A&M was one of the few teams, LSU included, expected to have any chance of beating Bama this season, so yeah, need to root for the Aggies this weekend.

Well, gradman, I think YOU are the idiot for not pulling for who I am. Roll Tide this weekend. There is absolutely nothing about A&M that I can stomach.

Doesn't really matter. I don't think we make it to the SEC Champ. game without beating both aTm and Bama. Do people realize LSU will most likely play 6 ranked teams (20 or higher) and 3 of which will probably be in the top 10.

My pick is for Bama to win and BEAT Bama at their house.

I ALWAYS pull for Bama to lose. The only matchup that I could imagine where I would pull for Bama is Bama-vs-Taliban...

Taliban's O line is beat up this season, I understand.

I think having Bama win is better for us. I don't want a Bama team looking to play spoiler to our season in November.

One A&M loss could send their season spiraling out of control, rendering our matchup with them irrelevant.

Basically if A&M wins, we have two motivated teams in November. Bama wins, we only have one motivated team, IMO.

That said, I'm not going to shed a tear either way.
