Took my kids for youth hunt last weekend in Wilkinson County, MS. Not a peep! I have heard the birds in that area have been gobbling. I will be in woods for opening weekend.

Doesn't really matter. I don't think we make it to the SEC Champ. game without beating both aTm and Bama. Do people realize LSU will most likely play 6 ranked teams (20 or higher) and 3 of which will probably be in the top 10.
My pick is for Bama to win and BEAT Bama at their house.

The end of the CR announcement rampage is upon us! When I need my spirits lifted, I can always count on TD for some comic relief
Take a deep breath and wait it out like mature adults

Seeing our LSU TIGERS play in Pasadena. That's right....
ROSE BOWL! This team has a good mix of veterans and talented youth.

IF, LSU should get a visit from RN, I would curious to know if his mother will be with him on the visit.

 I thought the same thing. He was 3 yards past the LOS. He could have picked up probably 7-8 yards on the play.

Stick with the FAN in you and keep the faith. Unless LSU turns the ball over 3-4 times in critical field position situations (which I personally do not think will happen from here on out), the TIGERS should prevail.
Will they have dropped passes, a sack or two, penalties...YES. They don't need to be perfect, just minimize those mistakes (particularly the fumbles and int's).

There is always the anticipation of playing a quality opponent. The gator boys are improved, but LSU will come to play with more passion (gut feeling).
Defense and Special teams at the very least will keep the game close, if not swing in our favor, for the remaining schedule. Offense can and will be more effective. I believe the team has a want to get past it's mental issues and played focused for 60 minutes.

find someting other to complain about****
Beleive me, people will find something else to complain about (like the pipe on the west side of the stadium). Just a little bit of an oversight.
I would like to believe the whiskey glass is always half full or there is a store near by. How many teams would like to be 5-0. I am sure USCw, Stanford, and Oklahoma would. LSU will be fine and they are fired up for the games ahead. I trust that the team is aware of their position and goals. All ye of little faith.

BTW- what's the name of that other LSU Football Head Coach who won 80 out of 98 games again- in ANY span?
THIS! I have been reading this board for several years. It never ceases to amaze me how many people seem to be experts at coaching a nationally recognized program. I carry the same passion about the program and desire to see the team perform up to their ability each week as most of you do that voice your opinion.
Do I complain about about certain play calls during the game, YES. Do I wonder why the team (coaches and players) has mental faux pas on occasion with penalties, fumbles, clock management, etc., YES.
I am fan and supporter of LSU. Ask yourself this question, do any of the coaches or players want to lose games or play the game to lose, NO, but HELLLL NO!!! They are going to do what it takes to win the game... run the hell out the ball, pass, fake punt, whatever.
You are either for the team or not. I, for one, am for the team. Those men are going to dig deep and play to win. The coach is going to make the calls that he thinks is necessary to get the 'W'. Peace be with all of you!

Maybe that is the reason plus the coaches observe the players (team's) ability everyday in practice. Otherwise, I reserve judgement on these guys simply due to very few attempts this year.

This. Although it was nice to see the TEs involved in the "back half" of the Towson game.
Agreed! Does anyone have a thought on why the TE's are not more involved in passing game (besides play calling). I do believe it depends on the flow of the game from a coaches viewpoint.
Although, if FL (or any other team) can not stop LSU from running the ball, keep ramming it down their throats.
