I'm arriving on Thursday and flying out on Monday. Didn't seem cheap to me, nearly $2k total for 2 people.

I'll look elsewhere.

flying out on Monday

Seems like that will be the most expensive option

Landing in Vegas at 9am Friday morning

Leaving on Tuesday at 2:05pm

That’s a $450 flight, minimum. That is NOT dirt cheap. Those non-stops are just about fully booked now though.

From what airports?

You do know the OT is international. Give us some context.

Assuming it was MSY

The non-stop on Friday is no longer available. Other options are about $300

Other non-stops on Monday or Tuesday are almost fully booked, prices are $650
One-stop in Dallas or Houston are about $250

So it’s still a $450-500 round trip

If you're fat, you get a free seat as well.

By the time I drive to NOLA and have to connect through another city I might as well had just driven to Las Vegas so that’s what I’ll be doing. It’ll be about the same amount of time.

It is a 25 Hour drive. Wtf are you talking about...

You gotta take into account driving to NOLA, finding parking, connecting through another city, travel delays …

Use your brain, idiot.

Of course, don’t forget the inevitable hurricane that will hit Nola too

Joking - but this did happen in 2021 before UCLA

Flying out of MSY

$417 total for two non stop flights is cheap to me for a holiday weekend to Vegas

A comped room plus resort fee Monday night is cheaper than getting a flight home Monday so that’s why I booked a Tuesday flight

I’m not a fan of Sunday games. That’s NFL days. I wish they put us back on Sat Night.
