And if we played Oklahoma again, it wouldn't be as close as it was tonight.

Beers was untouchable....... literally.

One of the more obvious reasons is that we do not have a point guard. HVL had a rough year last year, but she is world's better than our current starter. I know that Richard is young but she has more talent than the two people that play in front of her.

Completely disagree. If this team had Angel Reese they would be undefeated. HVL is a 2 guard it’s that simple

We were horrible defensively tonight.

What is your point....we already went TO South Carolina and lost by 10. This is a pretty stupid reference you are trying to make. OU was allowed to get away with everything they were doing physically. We weren't. The players and coaches got frustrated for us, because it was so blatant. OU is a good team if they can get away with the physical.

Against USCe we shot 29% from the floor. Against OU we shot 52%. We couldn't buy a bucket against SC. Sometimes the buckets just don't fall.

The fact that we shot 29% against SC and had a close game should tell you all you need to know.

Turnovers kill this team and fouls were a real problem in the game. If we can cut back on those turnovers the team would be very effective defensively.

If Mikayla shoots like that against SC. LSU beats SC.

if LSU hits half of the 6 foot shots they missed against SC they win by 4.

Good job South Carolina, but this is irrelevant and no longer matters.

I mean they have a better roster than probably most teams. Good for them.

Still impressed with how LSU played them on the road.

The Oklahoma press caused problems for the LSU girls. Pressing is how you get your team back into a game. Oklahoma rattled our players and our passing was very bad at times. We need to use bounce passes more often when the press is on. Our turnovers from their press achieved their desired outcome, which allowed Oklahoma to close the gap (24 pts.). To me this is a great teaching point for coach Mulkey to get across to her players during their practices, so that we do not repeat the problem again. Good clean passing will break this type of pressing.

Post game Mulkey said OK hadn’t run that press all season. So it caught the team off guard. But said they practice press break all the time. Just lost their composure.

Good for them. This is neither the South Carolina or Oklahoma boards.

Comparative scoring has a lot of flaws. Northern Illinois beat Notre Dame in football this year, does that mean they would have beat Indiana, USC, and Texas A&M too cuz Notre Dame beat all those teams.
