I believe this is the source of the Walker to portal speculation. Aired last night.

This was a shock to me. The only thing that could derail the LSU football turnaround is for BK to run off Walker Howard. I don't believe he is considering entering the portal. Walker loves LSU and I don't see him leaving after just one redshirt season. If he does it would be a major setback IMO.

Makes zero sense. If anyone would transfer out it would be Nuss.

BK recruited Howard while at Notre Dame and was his only other official visit.

BK is not trying to run off anyone. He is trying to delicately juggle 3 talented Qbs. Speaking of you don't think he can leave because he loves LSU. Look at Jack Bech he left. These kids want to play. If Nuss stays I can see Walker leaving because there is not enough reps to go around.

Nuss would be left with less eligibility and the possibility of losing out to Howard the following year, as opposed to transferring somewhere to start next season.
This all hinges on JD returning.
Have to remember BK recruited Howard so he may have a little more favorability to him than Nuss

Jack has played for 2 years. Howard hasn't had his chance yet. Big difference.

If Nuss stays it doesn’t guarantee he gets the starting job and even if he does he could have one good year and bounce. He’ll technically be draft eligible after next year. Or he could be a disaster and Walker takes over mid season. If I’m Nuss or Walker I wait until at least spring training is over before making a decision to leave.
