Honestly, this is a propime opportunity for the SEC. The only college football being played? Get a ton loads more TV exposure. That’ll help recruiting and bring in massive bucks.

Governors shut down economies, the only impact the Federal Government has is when it involved Interstate commerce. This has nothing to do with Liberal, Conservative or Independent.
As I said before, the Governor of MS, a Republican, a Mississippi Republican, gave a state directive for all his citizens to wear a mask in public. His directive was accompanied by a statement that if MS folks want College and HS football to happen, as he does, mask and social distancing must occur to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in MS. I noticed he was wearing a Mask when he made his announcement 5 days ago, 3 months ago I think he was anti-Mask. It has gotten so bad in MS, they have already delayed the start of school. There health care system is already getting strained.
This happened in Mississippi, not California for the record.

Commissioners are not in charge. Athletic directors are not in charge and coaches have no input whatsoever, let alone players. University Presidents and their legal eagles are making the decisions. Nobody else.
