Neither know wtf is going on with all of this. Tyrann probably did see what it would take to come back. It's just a smart thing to do right now to weigh all your options. His family is HEAVILY involved right now too.

Me too. What I don't completely understand at this point is whether the drug policy in question is one for LSU athletics or one that applies specifically to the football team?

Honestly that is good. I wouldn't ever choose to not have him play for LSU but if he is too selfish to understand that he is in the best situation, being that he plays for a high profiled team and a national champion contender, than he doesn't deserve to be there. I wish him all the luck, I really do but that guy is selfish. And why should the university give him another chance, which I believe he had to have been given several chances because no university wants to have this made public. Besides, CLM wouldn't have dismissed him if it wasn't his only option. Him having to leave LSU and pursue his dream of the NFL at another school will hopefully make him more mature and help him realize those dreams. If not, it wasn't meant to be. Besides he will look good in my undergrads school colors!

Right, and with family involved now apparently he's taking a second look at what was always a possibility from the beginning. "News"

yep id assume his first reaction didnt involve family and it was more him and les,joe and he probably reacted like a normal college kid.
The situation has been a few days old now with the actual punishment coming down so now he has seen the other side of college football and been able to talk to family. Id bet les is wanting to help him, my concern is joe alleva.

an from the wording of the press conference it seemed like that was an option just one that tm7 likely didn't want to take.
That's the way it sounded to me as well.

I think it would be worse not to work with TM7 towards reinstatement.

Which part of the press conference gave you this idea? Les said the decision is "permanent"

I agree and it could bring alot of good will to LSU if we could work with a troubled youth like tm7 and have him turn out to be a great story.
I dont know if alleva would be willing to do that. Alleva should remember LSU gave him a second chance for no reason at all when he messed up at duke.
its time to pass on the favor alleva and give hb7 a chance.

Reporters routinely just post gossip and pass it off as "news". Nothing to see on either side IMO. Who the eff knows whats going on? I won't believe anything until TM7 officials signs w/ another school or Alleva/Miles comes out and says something about allowing him back after a 1 yr suspension.

The part where he said he thought TM7 could still accomplish all of his personal goals and has a bright future ahead of him if he wants.

I'm wondering if he was being tested more because they were helping him through a substance abuse problem during the summer.
Hopefully LSU policy is also football policy. I have no doubt Les would give him another chance if it's an option.

Any outlet stupid enough to actually hire Randy Rosetta is not worth paying attention to.
Beyond that, judging from Randy's "scoops" history over time, usually one will clean up on betting 180 degrees opposite of what that pompous blowhard dribbles out of his mouth onto a keyboard or a capacitive touch screen device...
