C & P were talking about how Les deserves credit for recent hires and recruiting class. Guy in the huddle made the comment that LSU will still lose to Bama, and Ponamsky got his panties in a wad and threw a little fit.

the morning show guys need to lay off their newly discovered shtick. they've gotten pretty obnoxious lately. between the sunshine pumper BS and their almost daily rants regarding the huddle lately. Starting to gravitate toward Moscona status

Hell....I thought he was justified. Quit bitching about one football game, the game ended....nothing else to do but look forward and see that Les is trying to improve the program and work toward winning the next one. LSU fans have gotten spoiled.

They are part of the reason I thought Les was gone last November. Culotta and the Prince are the two biggest sunshine pumpers in the local media, and even they had turned on Les. They were speaking as if it was time for him to go.

Basically said as Tiger fans we put too much emphasis into one game. But I would say it's not just the fans but the team does as well. There was no reason for the team to play they did against Ark and Ole Piss. The only reason they played half way descent against A&M is cause they thought it was CLM last game. So in the fans defense, Ponamsky should direct that to the football team for not showing up the following two weeks after the Bamam loss

He is not wrong. The fans, Coach Miles, and the team put too much emphasis on that one game. If they lose to Bama but beat Ole Miss and Arky nobody that has a brain would want Les fired they are a top 10 team and playing in a NY6 bowl and right on the outside of the playoff with the only loss to the eventual National Champion. It is a big game every year and will be for the foreseeable future but everyone from the fans to the team to the head coach need to get over it and it is not the be all end all.
If you look at what Les has done since the A&M game to now and can't enjoy it in February because of something you think might happen in November then you are a miserable person and setting yourself up for failure.

I think everyone needs to read this and let it sink in.
I personally don't care if we go 0-12 or 15-0. I'll love this team and this university. We don't realize how spoiled we are. They have teams that go nuts for going .500 or better. Yet here we are... Miserable because we lose to a team that has been one of the most dominate football teams in college football history. I love football but I dont let it dictate my happiness.
