Hes been put in the game on 3rd and 20, and hes been asked to engineer late game winning drives in the two minute offense for consecutive weeks and succeeded, one of which was on the road at The Swamp. So much for not having the pressure 100% on his shoulders. it doesnt get any worse than that.

I agree 100%! I seriously doubt the pressure of starting is greater than the pressure of the whole season riding on a 4th and 14 with a little over a minute left needing a touchdown to win the game. Seriously, I don't think you can have more pressure than that in a football game.

He seems very comfortable, confident and ready at the start of the game. Although he's not starting, when he does get in the ballgame, he doesn't miss a beat. He appears to have a carefree attitude. As if nothing bothers him and that's a 180 compared to 2008. This got me thinking, maybe he likes this roll. Yes, I know any athelete wants to play the whole game, but maybe this suits him in a way where he is most comfortable. Maybe not having the pressure 100% on his shoulders keeps him focused on what he is expected to do. Just an angle about Lee we might be overlooking.

Something we might be overlooking when it comes to Jordan Jefferson.

He seems very comfortable, confident and ready when given the ball with 1st and goal at the two yard line. He appears to have a carefree attitude. As if nothing bothers him and that's a 180 compared to anytime he has to start the drive from LSU's side of the field. This got me thinking, maybe he likes this roll. Yes, I know any athelete wants to play the whole game, QB a whole drive, but maybe this suits him in a way where he is most comfortable. Maybe not having the pressure 100% on his shoulders keeps him focused on what he is expected to do.

See how easy that was?

Lee should be the outright starting qb, but i don't mind JJ coming in for goal line situations

Thanks BB! WTF are people referring to when they talk pressure? I'd rather the pressure of starting a game 0-0 than having to save my teams arse 3rd and long with minutes left!! My hats of to JL for making us 6-0 at this point. I'm not leaving out the other tigers, hats off to them every week. Man, I f**king love LSU!!!!

man i mentioned this several times and have had zero response. maybe it's my baseball background (esp pitching) but JL just might not take the starter role that well. many outstanding pitchers are like that. pre-game nerves effect him more. it's wierd being less nervous coming in for the 2 minute offense to win a game than a start, but it most definately could be that very thing. the guy is just getting over his trauma from '08. a quiet intospective qb and lsu fans are quite a mix. hell, sometimes i think new york would be an easier place to play.

So, because JLee hasn't been given a shot to start means he might not be comfortable with it? You'll leave that up to the coaches that to this point didn't play him until the season hung in the balance? Sorry if I can't share that sentiment.

Let's get him some pads that fit so he's not always tugging on them... he looks like he's wearing lineman pads

Lees face when he gets pulled says he doesn't want to be on the sideline

Regardless, i think what everyone is trying to say is, nobody cares. I know there is nothing to really to talk about with mcneese, but the psychology majors need not make an issue with every little thing.

One thing I noticed is that when he comes in late in the game when everything is on the line he looks composed and in control.

I'm glad JL has gotten a chance to redeem himself. A lot of kids would have quit after what he went through as a RSFR.

I like 2 qb's playing. We are always one play away from not having 2 qb's. Always get the insurance. It is very cheap especially if you need it.

Well give him a chance to start saturday night and lets see how he performs. If he craps the bed then let JJ run the first play before being relieved.
