They need to go play beach volleyball like in Top Gun to build camaraderie.

Missed layups and free throws

Spurts of standing around and no ball movement…all one on one

Failure to consistently stop the ball…primarily the pg

All fixable…van lith is slow but she takes bad angles on defense…watch the difference between her and poa on defense- night and day

Poa keeps the ball in front and beats dribbler to a spot…van lith is always trailing

Losing Sa'Myah Smith hasn't helped either.

I think its simple

1. This team doesn't have a true athletic PG who can distribute the ball like we want and defend. As much as HVL has struggled with the PG position (which she seems to be trying her best), her defense is a giant issue. I don't think is very fixable with how slow she is unless LSU went zone or mixed things up. All teams have been doing is running screens and plays and bam get open shots consistently (see Endiya Rogers vs A&M and Scott Grayson vs Auburn)

2. Zero depth, this team is now approaching 3 months of running on mostly 6 player rotation, they are getting tired and basically get nothing from the bench. LSU signed the '#1 class" and only one of the four players seems to be good enough to break the rotation. Bartlett has been here for 3 years and plays as much as the walk on. Of course sitting on 3 scholarships, Poole leaving and Smith injury are another topic of discussion

Just starting to realize how true it really is about missing Alexis Morris. I thought the players were there to replace her pretty well.

That hasn't been the case so far. The guards have talent, but no one has really taken charge like Morris did.

Yeah! Ever since she fell a few games back.
We have a short bench that can't be corrected until after the season.

Not much of an inside out game. The ball goes into the paint and doesn’t come out no matter how bad the shot is.

Something missing from WBB

Seeing all of these posts just shows that no one on the board really watched them play last year until late in the season.
How about folks let the HOF coach do the coaching and enjoy the ride

They need more consistent play at PG, offensively and defensively. The two ladies who get most of the minutes there seem to be great "team players," but improvement is needed for this team to be elite. I have no doubt that we will see improvement. I hope there is enough to give us a chance for a repeat in the NCAA tourney!

As long as they don’t have to play Iowa or South Carolina they will do fine.
