I think TQ has some jealousy issues that is affecting his play. Ben makes a play and he comes down and shoots a crappy shot. Also I think Simmons is having trouble handling the pressure. He only tried to score when the game was out of reach. The last few games it looks like other players are getting under his skin.

JJ has lost them team. This was an intentional loss by the players reacting to Simmons being disciplined. There is no way that every player on the team is that bad on the same night. There is trouble in the locker room, and I would not put it past Alleva meddling. This was his year to make his hire look like a good idea. He has failed, JJ has failed, and the team has quit on both of them.

He signed the players. Everything is on him. You have a player not playing well? Put someone else in, oh that's right, you did such a shite job at recruiting you have one good player surrounded by a bunch of bad players.

Yep, we've looked undisciplined and uninspired before plenty this year, but this game was different in scope and enourmity. It infected all but one player and with all that was on the line....this was just totally different.
To say when only one player looks like they give a shite out there all night and it has nothing to do with leadership....yeah, I can't buy that.

if what you are saying is true, which I highly doubt, LSU should forfeit the schollies of the whole fricking team and go out and sign some real men to play. this isn't girls softball.

There is the possibility that the players are just not good at basketball at the collegiate level. It's never one thing in these situations. It's a combination of things. They were overhyped pre-season and the expectations were based on no real quantitative data. They have never really gelled as a team and they lack serious fundamentals.
