He needs to get an arm eval from whoever he wants. If it is clear, he needs a Sports Psychologist. MLB won’t go for this

They said he didn't get above 93 the whole game. He didn't throw a fastball below 93 in the regional.

Ah ok. I heard them say that but thought they were referring to only the 2nd inning.

They said he got an MRI from LSU related doctors. I guess he needed further confirmation so he took the MRI to his personal doctor in Alabama. That doctor cleared him too.

Something is going on. He’d be shut down like Hill if there was something there.

With Hill and Labas and Storz and McMurray coming back next year, I’d be looking for an opportunity to fill in a starting role and put Henry in the bullpen. That way you utilize his ability while reducing his pitch count which should better suit that glass arm.

Per Brody Miller, Henry told Paul his arm was bothering him after the 2nd inning

Of course he did. But you know, no structural damage, so no need to worry. Completely common

If his arm was bothering him after the 2nd it was bothering him before the game. So he basically screwed us because he couldn’t fight through a little adversity.

Did nobody notice he was off in pregame?

I sit on the first row directly in line with the pitchers in the bullpen and he wasn’t “off”. He worked his sets and routines just like any other starter would.

So what happened then, Dawson?

He developed exceptional soreness after 30 pitches?

Being 3 or 4 mph down isn’t necessarily an injury issue.

Him saying his arm is bothering him is.

It's called panic.

Then I’m going to say I don’t buy it

Of course I can’t prove it, but based on all the evidence, I believe Henry is overreacting.

I was paying attention to velo when he was in there. The first 3 pitches he threw were 92, then 93, then 94. That was followed by a whole bunch of 91 and 92. Last week he sat 94-96 consistently. Something was obviously off. To me thats the way bigger loss today, not the game

Say we make it past FSU. Then Henry gets another MRI and it comes back clean. You gotta believe CPM will shut him down for the rest of the season because he can’t be relied upon at this point. He’s pulled himself out of a game 3 separate times this year. I know it’s a tough pill to swallow, but you can’t keep letting this guy do this if he is healthy. Send him home for the Summer and tell him to get his mind right for next year. If he wants to transfer then fine. We have plenty of arms returning next year.

Doesn’t matter. You have to be a real pos coach to force a kid out there that’s saying he doesn’t feel good
