ESPN just confirmed on GameDay that it was Bama fans that broke into the stadium last night and did it. Later arrested.

Harvey is not an aberration in Bama...lots of "Harvey's"...he is the poster boy of Bama fans who never graduated from there, but whose self esteem is completely contingent on a Bama win on Sat night. Some "Harvey" did that I presume. Heard there has been an arrest.

So true!!

Shows the power of the local media in Baton Rouge. National guy reports this and the local media has zero information about this. Sad

That little scratch is all? That's a grain of sand on the beach compared to what y'all did to our field in 99

Is this what college football rivalries has come to? Talk about lame. In the old days the shite was funny and original.

2. This train don't stop here anymore

On the night before the Yellow Jackets were set to arrive in Auburn for an 1896 game (yes, 1896), Auburn students greased the train tracks leading in and out of the local station. When Georgia Tech's train came into town, it skidded through town and didn't stop for five more miles. The GT football team had to make the trek back to town, then went on to lose, 45-0

That's happening everywhere. As local newspapers go under, there will be less and less actual local reporting. In another 20 years, we will be a society that is as ill-informed and propagandized as the Soviet Union, Nazi Germany or North Korea.
