1. after herman and jimbo were off the list, there wasn't a Plan B. no coaching search.

2. troy was a bad loss.

3. we have to have a successful season for O to continue. I don't want to put a number on it, because of other factors, but we have to win minimum 9 regular season, and be damned competitive in the 3losses. the offense has to look exciting, and but for 1 or 2 plays, we could've won those losses. if we lose 4, no matter how close, well - that's just not good enough.

4. with rare exceptions, we all want lsu to win, compete for championships, and win our share of championships.

Yep. Cupboard was bare. Troy had higher ranked recruiting classes for several years prior to O's arrival.

shite, I've seen people post that LSU didn't have the horses to win that game and that Troy was a very good team. Definitely not something that everyone will agree on IMO.

shite a lot of O pumpers disagree with Troy being a bad loss lol. I've seen a few write that Troy was a good loss because they went 10-2 in the Sun Belt ! The amount of shielding and knighting done by some for O is unlike anything ever seen before.

Respectfully disagree. Every coach has die-hard supporters and die-hard detractors. Because they are so invested in their beliefs, they are the loudest and most persistent. O's supporters/detractors are no different.

i think there's a little more blind support because O's "from here" and "one of us". the "he talks like us" crowd is pretty dedicated.

buy you are right. Miles def had his supporters who were there until the end. they kept insisting summer 2016 he would change the offense

Honestly Saban lost some of those exact same games, they don’t define a coach.
He went on to get some of the best recruiting classes ever.
It’s like playing AllStars every week.
Recruiting and coaching make championship teams.

I feel very strongly that should be the only correct answer. If we could all agree on this, the world would be a better place.

Can we add sauces and baw in there too?

5. The terms “posi” and “nega” when referring to fans is goofy.

What you are seeing right now is no different than how Les and Saban were treated during the offseason

O can handle it

Well most fans were expecting an upgrade when the national championship winning coach got fired 4 games into the season.

That Troy team went 11-1 and crushed the nuts off a very good team in its bowl game. Maybe not of LSU fame but a damn good team, that caught LSU injured and big headed.
