Some of our fans will not like Kelly no matter what he does on the field.

Which I don't understand. Some people just will not give him the credit for what he had to fight through when he first got here. 10 wins in back-to-back seasons considering the scholarship situation when he first got here. It's like people are waiting for him to fail.

Same goes for all of our non-long tenured coaches.

Of course. The rant cares about being right more than LSU winning. The rant wanted to start Brennen over Burrow and Nuss over Daniels.

Just like at Notre Dame. His style wins just enough to make weak fans like you happy. But never makes the next step.

It's just why he does

Patently true. Accurate Statement.

We've all heard people say that they hated the hire and want him gone.

Kelly has won ten games a season with some good talent but a ton of crap talent, and some of that crap talent starts out of necessity.

LSU does NOT currently have top SEC talent at some position groups, and we do NOT have Top SEC depth at all.

We did not have anyone of the field on Saturday who could match Reed's talent and quickness. Not Penn, not Weeks, not Ryan, not Gilbert, not Burns. And unfortunately, not any combination of those players.

It's beginning to look like another ten+ win season, but the talent is getting better and better.

This does not look like "another 10+ win season" to me.
But next year's recruiting class looks very strong, so year five might put in in contention for a Natty, with Underwood. ..
This is Kelly's third year, and his work is not what i would expect of a 100 million dollar coach.
I haven't given up on him, but i am not terribly impressed, either.

Kelly has yet to produce an elite team through year 3 at a University where his three predecessors produced elite teams even if they were middling coaches. In addition, his record against top teams throughout his career is abysmal.

Given the above and given his salary, empirical evidence shows he’s a fraud. I will amend my belief that he’s not an elite coach once he offers evidence to the contrary.

The 2 middling coaches took over the program with a full roster of SEC level talent and the other guys name was Nick Frickin Saban.

How many coaches can be elite? And what does it mean to be elite? Only like 3 active head coaches have a Natty. Who would you trade Kelly for? I'd trade him for Kirby and that's about it.

I don't want BK to fail and would love to see him win a Natty. However, I am currently a BK hater.

I don't buy the narrative we were in such bad shape when he took over. Nuss was on roster, Nabers, BTJ, Dellinger, etc. We had 5* highly recruited talent in guys like Bj Ojulari, Maason Smith and Sage Ryan. He brought in All-Pac 12 player Omar Speights. In the Les Miles and O era if those guys didn't pan out it was accredited to not being utilized right and poor coaching. See all the threads on Russell Shepard over the years. BK gets a pass on those guys. Why?

My biggest problem with BK is the reputation he had and continues to prove correct. He was known at ND for being a good coach that always lost the big games. It was always this story, "Oh but ND has recruiting limitations that limits his ability to compete with the best." I would love for him to prove me wrong and I'd eat all the crow there is to eat...yet, he continues to lose big game after big game. Until he proves otherwise...he is what he is. And no, I don't have a replacement in mind and I don't want a reset of the program. Just win a damn big game please!

It’s about expectations: BK is one of the highest paid coaches along with Blake B at DC. Not to include the NIL and 4-5 star recruits. Things aren’t adding up.

He’s paid to win, not to be liked.

So just win baby.

Kelly does not have those recruiting limitations at LSU, and his recruiting is FIRST RATE.

ACCORDINGLY:

IF his recruiting is MUCH BETTER at LSU than it was at Notre Dame,

AND the talent coming in is MUCH BETTER at LSU than it was at Notre Dame,

THEN a logical conclusion is that his results will be MUCH BETTER at LSU than they were a Notre Dame.

Who is responsible for this? He said jude him in year 3. A lot of people are going to hold him to this.
