been saying this since the day the renderings were out.. it is a completely terrible design for multiple reasons... just one of which is the concession blocks. im an architect and am completely impartial to this project (didnt pursue it, not involved in anyway). every time this comes up after hours as we shoot the breeze in the office - the opinions are uniform across the board - it is terrible.
im not overly hard to please with design either.
i like the west upper just fine. it doesnt try to imitate a historical north facade. it serves it purpose without being obnoxious on its own, and compliments the historic core of the stadium fine. i like the new baseball stadium just fine. i like plenty of things i see on the LSU campus.
this addition is seriously shockingly awful.
