they were in a brutal game against Auburn which could give us an advantage
Physically, it's hard to see MSU rebounding from that Auburn game, to win against LSU; especially since LSU didn't have to muster much of an effort over a lackluster opponent like Northwestern State.
That was a strategic cupcake. You will kill MSU.

Miss State will be a better team than the "Mighty" Ducks

I predict they will play Thurs night.......

MSU can run the ball better than either team we have played. They will get 300 yards (150 rushing, 150 passing).

I love these "LSU is going to blow out an SEC team" threads. Hasn't anyone learned, year after year, it doesn't matter how "overrated" a team may be, when it comes to an all SEC game, anyone can beat anyone.
I think the game is going to be closer than 42-14. Miss State is bigger and stronger than anyone else we've played all season.

I don't like that they lost though. We'll be playing a desperate team. Lose to us and they start 0-2 and that basically means they're out.
Still, 24-17 Tigers

I do not like thursday night games, especially at Miss State. I think it will be closer than I would like but Tigers will win 28-10 Lee throws 2 TDS.

I would hate to have played Miss State if they had come back to win the game yesterday on the last play. I think they would have been fired up to play us Thursday. So, I'm thankful for the physical beating they took yesterday and the heart breaking loss.

Regardless of what happened at Aubarn, I think Thursday night game will be a Dog fight (pardon the pun) and I predict a very close game going into the 4th quarter.

Due to recent history, I cannot predict a blowout by LSU.
23 LSU
17 Moo

I think the loss at Auburn is a big gut blow and hurts them immensely. Living here in Starkville, they thought Sugar Bowl after the Memphis game. I felt a win at Auburn and they would be sky-high for us. Now, I feel they are shot, emtionally and physically. I think our defense pounds them. I don't think they can finish drive against us and I do not feel like the big plays will be there like two years ago. I feel afew FG drives and maybe one big play. 34-16 LSU.

I think LSU wins a very close game.
